I’ve owned my biker shorts for almost a year now, but for whatever reason I never reached for them. Biker shorts have been a trendy piece for a couple of years now and this trend shows no signs of slowing down! A casual piece like this goes so well with a simple graphic tee, or a sweatshirt when the weather is breezy. To make these shorts 30s friendly, I made sure my tee is long enough to cover my bum. I am also pleasantly surprised at how great these are as mom-ing shorts. Anything that allows me to easily chase after Livvy is a win.

I wanted to try out the trend before committing to higher-priced biker shorts. These shorts are quite thin and are more of a base layer for outfits. They would be perfect for those of you who love adding a base layer underneath skirts or dresses. That being said, they work quite well as an entry piece to the trend!
