My style has always been.. lack of color. I don’t prefer to label myself as a minimalist because I don’t always feel so minimal. But I do tend to shy away from colors and stick to neutrals. Monochromic black and grey are my strong suit. They are the colors that I reach in the mornings and feel the most comfortable in. About a month ago, I bought a light beige sweater, thinking I shall expand my color palettes. I’ve worn the sweater to work twice so far, and I simply don’t feel comfortable in that color! I had an urge to go home and change during lunch time. haha
This lace up sweater from Baukjen is actually my first time hopping on the lace-up trend. I know, I am so late to the party. Lace-up details just make the outfit so much more fun! I am in love. I can already pairing (in my mind) this light weight sweater with distressed shorts in warmer weather. Can’t wait!

Minimalism (or what ever label you choose to describe your style as), is a chic and classic way to dress. The colours and pared back look you prefer will always be timeless and in fashion 🙂 I love your photography and styling so much
