Vancouver has been blessed with spring weather this week and I had to take full advantage of it! Everlane released their first ever “summer jeans” which I am super excited about. I’ve never been a summer dress kinda gal so I live in shorts and light denim all through summer months.
Huge thanks to Everlane for sending these jeans to me. I’ve put them to a test drive and I am ready to hug summer in these jeans.
They come in three shades – light blue, mid blue and bone (aka white). I went for the mid blue shade for that raw denim vibe. The jeans are made with 10 oz denim, 100% cotton, that is soft to touch. I don’t generally associate 100% cotton denim with soft and airy but those are exactly what these jeans are. Because they are so lightweight, the fabric feels like it’s already broken-in and that is perfect for warm summer weather. Comfortable right out of the box for all different summer activities, I took these for a stroll in the neighbourhood and got myself some donuts. Can we ever say no to donuts? Um, back to jeans, I am also thrilled to see that the length works great for my petite frame, no hemming needed.
Size-wise, size down if you are looking for a more fitted pair of jeans. Get your regular size if you want that slightly oversized comfort. Ok, now can I get these in other shades too?
