Yessss! Our spring was off to a rainy start and I am so happy the rain has finally let up. I wanted to hop on here to write about the items that I’ve been wearing a lot. They are Everlane’s Gathered Draped Trench Coat and 90s Cheeky denim. These are both classic spring items that are as versatile as it gets. Being a huge fan of Everlane, this is actually the first time (eeek!!!) I am really trying their popular 90s Cheeky Jeans! Very exciting!
For the Gathered Draped Trench Coat, I really like the fit of this coat, soft and flowy. Love how it drapes and hangs nicely without being bulky. The coat is unlined so I’ll need to layer for crazy Vancouver spring weather. Runs large, I’ve got the coat in size xxs which is a size down from my usual size. Take your regular size if you want to layer with chunky sweaters underneath.
Onto the 90s Cheeky Jeans. I’ve wanted to get these jeans for a long time but just can’t decide on the sizing. I normally wear size 25 in Levi’s and size S in other joggers. After trying on both size 24 (very tight) and size 25 for the 90s Cheeky Jeans, I decided to keep the size 25 despite it being loose. It gives a whole different look from my other jeans and I love playing this loose look with different outfits. I’ve got my jeans in the ankle length even though it’s more of a full length on me. On the hindsight size 24 probably would’ve worked after breaking it in. But I love my size 25 90s cheeky being different from my other jeans! Going outside of my comfort zone, you know!?
